How to create a cPanel account and allocate package in WHM

Step 1 – Log into WHM

(WHM >> Home >> Account Functions >> Create a New Account).

The Domain Information section of the Create a New Account interface defines basic settings for a user’s account.

  1. Enter the domain name, which you have registered already. ( Example – domainname.com)
  2. Set a cPanel username and password for it/ username must contain only letters and numbers.
  3. Enter you password and Re-enter the same password.
  4. Enter the contact email address for the new account.(It will use to get the account related notifications from cPanel.
  5. Continue to the Package section.

Step 2 – Need to set the package.

Make sure that you have create the plan for this account. Else Please follow the below steps to create it.

  1. Login to your WHM panel  – (WHM >> Home >> Packages >> Add a Package)
  2. Enter the required package name .
  3. Enter the Disk quota in Megabytes (MB).
  4. Enter the in Megabytes (MB).
  5. Set the required resources like Email account, Addon Domains, Sub domains, FTP accounts.

 

Once the resources and settings and limits are assigned, click on the Add button to complete the process.

Step 3 – Assign the package
(WHM >> Home >> Account Functions >> Create a New Account).

Once you have created the packages, Kindly choose the package name for creating account.

Note: When declaring “Resources” you should keep within the limitations of your specific plan.

Choose the cPanel theme to assign the user (orissawebhosting currently uses Paper lantern) and select the appropriate language for the user.

Step 4 – Settings

Choose the cPanel theme to assign the user (orissawebhosting currently uses Paper lantern) and select the appropriate language for the user like English, Thai, Polish.

Step 5- Reseller Settings

Step 6 – DNS Settings & Mail Routing Settings 
Mail Routing Settings  – These settings allow you to specify how mail should be routed for the new account.
DNS Settings –  The DNS Settings section allows you to enable the new account’s DKIM and SPF records. You can also configure which nameservers the new account’s domain will use.

Once you created the account, you can access the created account via below steps.

https://yourdomainname:2083/

Enter the username, which you have assigned while creating account.

Enter the Password, which you have assigned while creating account.

Once you enter the valid password and username, you can access the cPanel and you can view the list options like above.
