How to Migrate Emails from cPanel server to another cPanel
Step 1. Create Email accounts on the new server.
Before I am going to show that I have some imporant mails in that Existing server.
Existing server I have created one mail ID as (email@example.com) in cPanel, For reference I have attached the screenshot below.
Also I have some mails in my INBOX For reference I have attached the screenshot below.
Step 2 – All your emails are under the mail directory. Home >> Mail >> domainname.com >> blog (mailID).
So kindly right click >> and compress the folder into ZIP and download to your local PC
Step 3 – Move Emails to the new server
Create all your email accounts on the new server, as they exist on the old server. This can be done from your cPanel control panel on the new server and disconnect from the old server.
Mail account has been successfully created.
Step 4 – Uploading the zip file into the mail folder.
Once email account created in cPanel ( firstname.lastname@example.org)>> the mail folder will automatically created in home >> mail >> blog
Upload (blog.zip) blog folder from your local to new cPanel server and extract it.
Step 5 – Once all files are uploaded, you are DONE. You can verify that old mails have indeed moved into your newly created email accounts, by logging into your new email accounts using a webmail interface.
Login to cPanel >> Email account >> email@example.com >> Access webmail.
Once logged in, you can see your old mails in your new server, without any dataloss.
