How to reset cPanel password?

Step 1 – How to change the cPanel password via cPanel 

If you have your current password, Kindly login to your cPanel using below URL

Once logged in choose >> Preferences section >> Password & Security

Fill in the required fields with the Old and the New password you wish to use and hit Change Password:

Step 2 -How to change the cPanel password via client area

Kindly login to your client area by using below URL.

Login in your Client area ( http://**********************/clientarea.php).

Enter your user name and password and login your client area, Once logged in >> Click “Services >> My Services

Click >> Active >> button in the hosting account you want.

Once you choose the Active button >> you can see the Change password option.

Then enter your new password >> confirm password >>  Save change to reset your cPanel credentials.

Once all done you can access your cPanel with your new password.

Step 3 -How to change the cPanel password via WHM panel

If you wanna reset a password for one of your cPanel accounts through WHM, the process is very simple.

Once logged in to WHM, just select “List Accounts”

Once clicked, you can see list of your cPanel accounts which is hosted in your WHM.
To change the password, you just need to click the + more button on the right hand side of the cPanel account that you need to reset the password on.

Once selected, you’ll then see a box where you can enter a new password for the account. Just pop the new password in there and click “Change”.

Once all done, you can login the cPanel with new password.
